Master Swine Health and Production    

Animal production has been a crucial element to the human species through time. About 223 million tons of meat, 568 million tons of milk and 50 million tons of eggs are produced yearly in the world. Meat and dairy products contribute to the human diet with high value biological proteins.

Swine production represents 40% of the world meat production. It is of  particular importance in Spain, holding 16% of the total EU swine census. 

Job opportunities are hence numerous and good quality for trainees with a holistic view of the swine health and production, who can contribute to safe, high quality meat end-products on the basis of a technically and economically efficient, environmentally safe production system with cutting-edge animal welfare standards.
